Kevin Morosky - SIX At The Orange Dot Gallery
“The idea that we are so closely connected is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. I love the idea that we are all equal, we just have different lives” - Kevin Morosky
Tonight is the private view of Photographer, DJ, Promoter and overall creative soul and consummate TFL-bashing pottymouth of Kevin Morosky’s exhibition at the Orange Dot Gallery. SIX represents the six degrees of separation theory that Morosky considered after looking through his catalogue of images, of the people he knows, within various circles, and how they all interconnect. Morosky shoots on 35mm film in a documentary style that conjures up feelings of nostalgia and romanticism while it stays entwined within the hardened backdrop of London’s streetculture. Morosky has shot a plethora of artists, musicians and actresses ranging from Ghostpoet, Marques Toliver, Ashley Madekwe, Mischa Barton as well as magazines like RWD and Vice. Check it out!
Private View: Wednesday 8 June 6-9pm
